The successor to Canon's popular A70, the entry-level PowerShot A75 is a surprisingly advanced model with a 3.2-megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom, and more manual features than you'll find on most digital point-and-shoots. Featuring a high-tech design with aluminum front cover and metallic handgrip, the PowerShot A75 combines a sense of both the modern and the traditional. One of the reason I give this five stars is because this camera is cheap for all of its features. I just bought this recently and the you can be as creative as you like! If you are beginning then just switch it to auto and snap away, but if you want to be creative, go ahead and mess around with it! The photo stitch mode is awsome and makes cool pics! The battery life is another great thing about this camera, it last the whole day, literally! But when you buy your memory card make sure to by at least a 128mb so you don't have to worry about erasing cute pics. But the 32mb card it comes with is a special bonus! I took 27 pics and a 30 second movie all on that one little card. One more thing is the movies. They're nearly as good as my $800 mini video camera. Anyway I really recommend this camera for anybody! Everyone enjoys the LCD screen on the back. Instead of the typical fixed LCD it has a swivel one much like your Camcorder. It pops out so you can have it hang to the side, or you can flip it over to take pictures of yourself and your family if you don't have a cameraman handy. It can also flip back into the body to function just like previous LCD screens. Amazing innovation in digital camera's. Overall nice camera from Canon.

In addition, it focuses quickly, the flash is bright (sometimes too bright), and the battery life is generous. Not only does this camera have all the must-have features, it packs all that in a tiny body--you can easily carry this in (guys) your pocket or (gals) your purse. Plus it's packaged in a beautiful silver exterior. A must-have accessory is a much bigger CompactFlash memory card (get at least a 256MB card). An extra battery would also be helpful--since this camera comes with an external charger--so that you will always have a fresh battery handy.
